The Director of Curriculum and Instruction will lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of K-12 academic programs to ensure alignment with Oklahoma Academic Standards and district goals. This role supports instructional improvement, professional development, and academic innovation across all campuses, working closely with teachers, principals, and the superintendent to promote strong student outcomes.
Design and manage curriculum frameworks that align with state standards and local goals
Evaluate instructional programs and recommend data-driven improvements
Coordinate district-wide professional development for teachers and staff
Oversee the selection and integration of instructional materials and resources
Collaborate with school leaders to support high-quality instruction and student growth
Support assessment practices and the use of student data for continuous improvement
Supervise instructional staff and curriculum coordinators (if applicable)
Ensure compliance with state and federal education policies and grants.
Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field (Doctorate preferred)
Valid Oklahoma School Administrator Certification or eligibility
5+ years of teaching experience and prior experience in instructional leadership
Strong knowledge of curriculum planning, pedagogy, and academic standards
Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills
Proficiency with education technology and student data systems
