Job Description
As a Grade Entry Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely input of student grades and academic records. This position works directly with school staff, registrars, and district administrators to support digital grade reporting and transcript accuracy through the student information system.
Key Responsibilities

Enter grades, progress reports, and final marks into the district’s student information system (SIS)

Verify accuracy of submitted grade sheets and flag discrepancies

Collaborate with teachers and administrative staff to clarify missing or incorrect data

Maintain confidentiality and follow FERPA compliance protocols

Assist with report card generation and digital distribution

Support transcript entry and formatting for high school records

Log entries and track updates in compliance with district deadlines
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

1+ years of experience in data entry or school administrative support preferred

Familiarity with PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, or other SIS platforms is a plus

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools
Excellent written communication for remote collaboration
