COST ESTIMATOR
United Tool, LLC is seeking a part-time skilled Cost Estimator to join our team at our facility in Pewaukee, WI.
This is the perfect opportunity for a semi-retired professional who would like to set their own schedule!
As a Cost Estimating Engineer, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with manufacturing processes and products. You will utilize your expertise in CNC Milling and Lathe operations, CAD/CAM software, and blueprint reading to analyze and determine the most efficient and cost-effective manufacturing methods. If you have a strong background in cost estimation and a passion for precision machining, we would love to hear from you.
Main activities:
- Receive and review requests for quotes from customers
- Estimate time and confirm material costs from the database and customer-supplied blueprints
- Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing/Machining experience in CNC Milling & CNC turning
- Ability to understand and read blueprints
- Proficient computer skills
- Proficient shop math skills
Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 to $35.00 per HOUR
