Measure, cut and fabricate conveyor belting utilizing belt slitter, heat guns, Vguide and cleat applicators. Must know how to use lacing machines, drills, punch press, squaring devices, and tape measures along with various related hand tools. You will also roll up and wrap finished conveyor belting.
Must be able to lift 60 lbs or more. Communicate clearly with coworkers and customers regarding belt sales orders and installation. Listen to and follow directions. Keep work are clean and organized. Demonstrate and maintain skills learned. Drive company vehicle to customer installs. (You must have a clean driving record) H6 print out will be requested. Drive sit down propane forklift to access and organize belting slab stock on pallets (Forklift certification needed) Certification will be requested.
Minimum of a high school diploma
California D.L in good standing and clean driving record
Communicate clearly in English read & write (Spanish speaking is a big plus)
Adaptable, flexible, and dependable
Highly productive and strong organizational skills
Mechanically inclined is a must.
Must be able to work from 7am to 5pm Monday-Friday
Must be able to work weekends, before and after normal business hours due to customers on sight installations.
Shift would either be from 7am to 3:30pm or 8am to 4:30pm
Starting pay is $14.00 hr and it is a temp to hire with a pay raise plus benefits once hire.
