Prep Cook

Job Description

Currently we are seeking applicants for a part-time prep cook position in our cafe. This position will be responsible for following and ensuring the timely completion of food production lists. The successful candidate will be available to 25 to 30 hours per week. The successful candidate should have:

• Broad knowledge and experience in food production in a commercial kitchen
• Above average communication skills
• Demonstrated experience with meeting deadlines and time management
• Self-directed, able to work with little or no supervision

Preference will be given to candidates who have a:
• ServSafe Food Handling Certification
• minimum one year of experience in a commercial kitchen
• Culinary degree
