Wicker Point Golf Club is currently under construction on the beautiful shores of Lake Martin, near Alexander City, AL. This is the first new golf course built in Alabama since 2004. The project includes an 18-hole championship golf course and a state-of-the-art practice facility designed by the world-renowned team of Bill Coore & Ben Crenshaw.
Description:
We are looking for new employees to join our golf course maintenance team. Employment at Wicker Point Golf Club is a wonderful opportunity for people who want to join an exciting team atmosphere on the ground floor of the new golf club. Team members should expect cross training at multiple job duties and should expect quick growth inside the department. Job duties include but are not limited to operating large and small equipment, maintaining fairways, maintaining greens, maintaining bunkers, course setup, watering sod, laying sod, tree work, irrigation repair, general landscaping activities, and other golf maintenance practices.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in landscaping is helpful but not needed.
